Joe Dean, Architectural Designer

Knowledgeable about all aspects of construction and passionate about design that achieves both functionality and beauty, Joe brings 17 years of experience in residential design to TreHus. In fact, Joe’s experience dates to his high school days when a drafting instructor, obviously sensing potential, asked Joe to produce working drawings for his custom home.  Joe then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in construction at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Joe has served residential customers in a range of physical settings in Minnesota and Colorado. While working in Colorado and assigned to projects in Nevada, Texas and California, he gained an understanding of construction styles and techniques inherent to a specific region.  His designs have met the needs of a range of architectural interests, including historic renovations, mountain homes, mixed-use and new urbanism community living. His work has been recognized by peers and honored with numerous regional building and design awards.

Joe admits that few things make him happier than to witness the end result of working collaboratively with his clients in the creation of living spaces they love and are proud to call – home.
